This isn't a dusty console pulled from a garage sale. This is a Nintendo 64 that has been completely torn down, reconditioned from the inside out, and rebuilt to perform better than it did in 1996 — now with crystal-clear HDMI output for your modern TV.

Every unit we sell at Altered Retro goes through a full inspection and upgrade process. We don't cut corners. If it doesn't meet our standard, it doesn't ship.

Shell condition: Good The shell is in good condition with no cracks or structural damage. There are minor scratches on the buttons consistent with normal use — nothing that affects performance or appearance from a normal viewing distance. All photos are of the actual unit you will receive.

What we've done to this N64:

• Recapped the main motherboard with fresh Console5 capacitors — eliminates audio/video degradation caused by aging caps
• Recapped the power supply — safer, more stable power delivery
• Installed a region-free cartridge slot — play US, Japanese, and PAL games with no adapter needed
• Installed an HD64 HDMI kit — outputs a clean 720p signal over HDMI, no lag, no signal adapters
• Replaced all thermal pads — keeps the board running cool

• OEM NUS-007 Expansion Pak — required for many N64 games including Majora's Mask, Perfect Dark and Donkey Kong 64
• OEM NUS-002 Nintendo 64 power supply
• OEM NUS-005 gray N64 controller with upgraded Retro-Bit analog stick — the original N64 stick is notorious for wearing out over time; the Retro-Bit replacement fixes the drift and stiffness, so it feels crisp right out of the box
• 5ft HDMI to mini-HDMI cable — plug straight into your TV
