Features full ground shielding and gold plated contacts
Tech Tip: Sometimes these jacks are installed upside-down on the console PCB as part of a mod / bypass board, in place of an RF modulator or other module. Frequently the upper shield of the jack is then soldered to the system PCB to anchor the jack & board in place. Be aware that this can warp the ground connection at the AV cable and cause signal quality problems. If this attachment method is utilized, observe for deformation of shielding and check quality of ground post-modification.
