Sega Genesis 3 — Triple Bypass v2, Fully Recapped, Power LED | Plays 32X, Sega CD, SMS & Game Genie

The Sega Genesis 3 is the most compact and cleanest-looking of all Genesis models — but it shipped with a known video quality problem. The stock composite output is noticeably soft and washed out. The Triple Bypass mod fixes that at the source, pulling a clean RGB signal directly from the VDP and bypassing the degraded audio and video circuits entirely. This unit has had that done, plus a full recap and thorough degrease.

What we've done to this Genesis 3:

• Full motherboard recap via Console5 kit — fresh caps throughout, eliminates audio hiss and video degradation
• Installed a Triple Bypass v2+ from Zaxxor — clean RGB and composite output, bypasses the stock video circuit entirely for a dramatically sharper picture
• Restored full multi-system compatibility via Krikzz Pro Cart — plays Sega CD, Sega 32X, Virtua Racing, Sega Master System, and Game Genie
• Full degrease and internal cleaning
• Custom red power LED with translucent 3D-printed surround — subtle upgrade, looks great

Shell condition: Good The shell is black with the standard Genesis 3 styling. Minor surface wear consistent with age — no cracks, no structural damage. Cleaned and degreased inside and out. All photos are of the actual unit you will receive.
